The Flatcap Modern is a modern take on our classic flat cap. It has the same top made from one uninterrupted piece, but it’s slimmer and sits less flat. This version is made entirely from virgin wool, in genuine Harris Tweed with a fine check pattern.

Harris Tweed is one of the most distinctive fabrics in the world. Every metre is hand-woven in the Outer Hebrides, off the coast of Scotland. The fabric carries the protected Orb mark of the Harris Tweed Authority, which proves it is genuine.

From a distance, this cap simply looks dark anthracite, but look closer and you’ll see a hint of midnight blue with check lines in ochre and rust. Calm enough for every day, with just enough colour to never be dull. A warm, robust wool you’ll wear all through autumn and winter.

This cap comes from the workshop of City Sport, a Belgian atelier that still produces in Belgium today. At Harbor of Men, we choose the fabric, colour and shape ourselves. So you don’t get a standard, mass-produced cap, but one we’ve deliberately had made for our collection.
