This 6-panel flat cap is made of six panels that meet at the top. That way the cap follows the round shape of your head nicely and has just a little more volume than a classic flat cap. This version is made from loden wool with added alpaca, in dark blue with a subtle check.

What is loden?

Loden is a natural fabric from the Alps. Farmers and hunters in Tyrol used to wear it for protection against extreme weather, and it is still made in the same traditional way today. Loden breathes, keeps out the cold, is water-repellent and lasts a remarkably long time.

Color and comfort

Deep navy blue with gray nuances and thin rust-colored lines that form a quiet check. You only really see it up close, and that’s what makes this cap so easy to wear. A proper cap for cold, raw days in autumn and winter.

Made in Belgium by City Sport

This cap comes from the workshop of City Sport, a Belgian atelier that still produces in Belgium today. At Harbor of Men, we choose the fabric, color and shape ourselves. So you don’t get a standard, mass-produced cap, but one we’ve deliberately had made for our collection.
