This newsboy cap is made of eight panels that meet at the top under a fabric-covered button. That gives the cap a round, full shape with that typical vintage look. This version is made entirely from virgin wool, with a subtle herringbone texture that almost looks like flecks from a distance.

Color and comfort

Dark gray, olive, brown and blue blend together into one warm, heathered color. No single shade stands out, but together they give the cap depth and character. Wear it with a dark coat or a chunky knit sweater, and you’re set for all of autumn and winter.

This cap comes from the workshop of City Sport, a Belgian atelier that still produces in Belgium today. At Harbor of Men, we choose the fabric, color and shape ourselves. So you don’t get a standard, mass-produced cap, but one we’ve deliberately had made for our collection.
